Contact the library for the new password and to be added to our email contact mailing list each quarter when the the new password comes out. You do not need a password to access MicroMedex from a hospital networked computer. The password allow users to access MicroMedex from a mobile device and/or from off-site.
To view quarterly Micromedex password information for mobile device access, click here from a hospital-networked computer. Then click on the link to Download Center at the top right.
The default page gives information/passwords on the Micromedex Apps (Drug Reference, Drug Interactions and IV Compatibility) for Apple, Android and Windows 8, with direct links to the App Store and Google Play.
To get to passwords and information on how to access Micromedex from a mobile device, click on the gray bar above indicating “Access Micromedex from your tablet.”

The mobileMicromedex tablet access password and drug interactions and IV compatibility app passwords have now been posted on the Library’s Sharepoint announcements blog. Access from a hospital-networked computer only.
Follow these steps to access mobileMicromedex 2.0 on your tablet.
Step 1: Open your browser
Step 2: Go to http://www.micromedexsolutions/micromedex2/librarian
Step 3: Click here to get the authentication information (on-site users only)
The authentication information lasts for the current quarter on your device. At the end of the quarter you will need to obtain a new username and password. The password will change on the first Sunday of the quarter
To get the new passwords
From a hospital networked computer go to: http://www.micromedexsolutions.com/micromedex2/librarian
Click on mobileMicromedex link at top of page
Click on the gray bars for passwords and access information:
